Our Care Process

Your journey begins when we receive a referral from your physician, hospital, home health agency, case manager, skilled nursing facility, or another healthcare provider. If you're contacting us directly, our team will gather the information needed to start the referral process.

Our team will verify your insurance coverage and determine your eligibility for treatment. This process typically takes 24–48 hours, depending on your insurance provider. Rest assured that we will contact you as soon as your benefits have been verified to discuss the next steps.

Once your insurance has been verified, we'll work with you or your caregiver to schedule an appointment at a convenient date and time. Our team will also answer any questions you may have before your first visit and explain what to expect during your treatment.

During your initial visit, one of our experienced wound care providers will perform a thorough assessment of your wound, review your medical history, evaluate any factors that may affect healing, and develop a personalized treatment plan based on your individual needs.

Your provider will begin treatment using evidence-based wound care techniques. Depending on your condition, this may include advanced dressings, debridement, UltraMIST® Therapy, regenerative therapies, infection management, and other specialized treatments designed to promote healing.

Healing is an ongoing process. You’ll be visited by one of our dedicated providers one to three times per week, depending on your insurance coverage. Each visit ensures consistent care, close monitoring of your progress, and timely adjustments to your treatment plan—so your healing stays on track.

Our goal is to help your wound heal as quickly and safely as possible while reducing the risk of complications. Even after significant healing has occurred, we'll continue to provide guidance, education, and follow-up recommendations to help prevent recurrence and support your long-term health.
