How Do You Pay for Our Services?

At SknFx, we accept traditional Medicare as the primary insurance provider. We also work with Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries (QMB). For patients without coverage or those seeking additional services like grafting, we offer out-of-pocket payment options. Amniotic membrane grafting and stem cell grafting are available to self-paying patients, providing a specialized treatment option for more advanced care.

Process Overview

  • Step 1: Get in Touch
    Contact our team to get started. We’ll take down your basic information and initiate the insurance verification process to confirm your coverage and ensure you qualify for our services.
  • Step 2: Provide Necessary Information
    Send us a copy of your insurance card, date of birth, physical address, and a picture of your wound. This will help us understand your situation better and prepare for your consultation.
  • Step 3: Insurance Verification
    Once we receive the necessary information, we’ll run an insurance verification check to ensure you qualify for treatment. If you qualify, we’ll move forward with scheduling your consultation.
  • Step 4: Initial Consultation
    Once insurance is verified, you’ll receive a call to schedule your initial consultation with Dr. Aranke. During this visit, he will perform a thorough assessment, gather your health history, and conduct a full pre-treatment evaluation. This includes taking measurements of the wound, learning about its origin, and obtaining consent and medical release forms.
  • Step 5: Custom Treatment Plan
    After the initial consultation, you’ll receive a customized treatment plan designed specifically for your wound and overall health needs. We’ll explain the plan in detail and ensure you feel comfortable and informed before moving forward.
  • Step 6: First Treatment Session
    Dr. Aranke and a nurse/nurse practitioner will visit you for the first treatment session. During this visit, we begin the active healing process, provide you with all necessary supplies, and establish a treatment schedule for future visits.
  • Step 7: Continued Care and Monitoring
    You’ll be visited by our dedicated provider 4 days a week, ensuring consistent care and monitoring throughout your healing journey. This includes ongoing treatments, wound cleaning, and adjustments to your care plan as needed.
  • Step 8: Wound Healing and Closure
    We continue our visits until your wound is fully healed. Our team’s dedication to advanced care and frequent check-ins ensures that your wound will be treated from every angle for the best possible outcome.
